Luxury takes off: FlexJet secures major partnership with Formula One
Formula One (F1) and Flexjet, a global private aviation company operating a fleet of more than 340 aircraft. Have announced a multi-year partnership naming Flexjet as F1’s official private aviation supplier, supporting travel for key executives and championship personnel. Across F1s global calendar of 24 races in 21 countries with Flexjet providing worldwide aviation support and exclusive experiences at select grands prix.
Enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring seamless travel, collaborate on premium fan experiences and support F1s sustainability goals through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel certificates (SAFc).
Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of F1 said:”Every day of the year, Formula One is on the move, connecting with our fans, promoters and stakeholders, working together to deliver something truly incredible.”
The agreement which launched just ahead of this weekend’s British Grand Prix brings together two brands that share a focus on operational excellence and innovation, as both are defined by precision, performance as well as the delivery of world class experiences.
Through this collaboration Flexjet will support the travel requirements of key executives and championship personnel, providing efficient and flexible connectivity around the world.
Kenn Ricci, Chairman of Flexjet added: “This is a natural alignment of two world in which both luxury aircraft and fast cars require absolute precision and flawless co-ordination to achieve success.”
As a leader in its field, Flexjet operates a global fleet of more than 340 ultramodern private jets, including one of the industry’s most refined collections of large cabin aircraft.
Flexjet will benefit from F1’s global platform and growing international audience of more than 830 million fans worldwide.
Domenicali mentioned: “Having strong partners by our side is central to our success as we continue to grow and create unforgettable moments for hundreds of millions of fans around the globe.”
While also providing its special guests with access to a range of exclusive, behind the scenes experiences at select grands prix events.
The partnership also reinforces both organisations’ commitment to advancing responsible mobility and operations efficiencies.
Ricci acknowledged: “As we look to the future alongside out partners at LVMH, cementing our longstanding ties with the world of motor racing allows us to deliver unparalleled, ultra luxury experiences, both on the ground and in the air.”
As part of F1’s broader sustainability strategy, flights operated under the partnership will utilise SAFc, contributing to ongoing efforts to reduce emissions associated with business travel while contributing towards its net zero by 2030 target.
