Ferrari strikes again: Hypercar Team re-ups with elite AHE Fund in big money heritage deal
Ferrari has renewed its partnership with the Azimut Automobile Heritage Enhancement (AHE) fund, extending a collaboration that has become a defining feature of the marque’s Hypercar programme since 2023. The announcement comes less than a month before the opening round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at Imola, giving Ferrari continuity and strategic stability as it prepares to defend its place at the front of the hypercar field.
The relationship between Ferrari and AHE began on the eve of the Prancing Horse’s historic victory in the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and has since grown into a shared commitment to preserving along with elevating automotive heritage. AHE remains the world’s first and only global investment fund dedicated exclusively to classic cars, operating through a structured process that spans acquisition, restoration, as well as long term preservation.
As part of the renewed agreement, the redesigned “Azimut‑AHE” logo will continue to feature prominently on Ferrari’s two factory‑run 499P Hypercars, carrying numbers 50 and 51, which compete under the Ferrari AF Corse banner. The branding presence reinforces AHE’s role as a key team partner in the top class of endurance racing, aligning the fund with Ferrari’s most technologically advanced and globally visible motorsport project.
The partnership will also extend beyond the WEC paddock. AHE’s updated logo will appear on the Safety Car livery used in the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, the company’s flagship single‑marque series. The move strengthens the fund’s visibility across Ferrari’s wider motorsport ecosystem, connecting heritage investment with contemporary racing performance.
With the 2026 season fast approaching, the renewal underscores Ferrari’s commitment to blending its competitive ambitions with a broader cultural mission: celebrating the value of historic vehicles while pushing the boundaries of modern endurance racing. For both Ferrari and AHE, the partnership represents a fusion of legacy in addition to innovation at a moment when the Hypercar category continues to grow in global prominence.
