WEC secures long term visibility as Eurosport and TNT Sports extend broadcast deal across Europe

 



Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe and FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the global endurance racing series, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Have announced an expansion of its broadcast rights agreement with WEC, the deal ensures every lap of every race remains available to fans. Every race, including Le Mans, will continue to be shown live one Eurosport, TNT Sports, HBO Max and Discovery+.


WBD emphasises that “motorsport is in our DNA,” highlighting its commitment to connecting fans with world class endurance racing.

WEC benefits from long term stability, broad reach and multi-platform distribution across key markets.


A renewed agreement until at leat 2030 includes coverage of all eight races on the WEC calendar.

Pierre Fillon, Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) President added: “World class broadcasting has been a key driver in the growing global appeal of both the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship in recent years, bringing the intensity of the racing and the human stories behind it to fans in every corner of the world.”

This includes the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race held at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe in France taking Eurosport’s coverage of the pinnacle of endurance motorsport racing beyond 20 years.


WBD’s linear channels including Eurosport and TNT Sports will scale premium coverage to millions of fans.

This new agreement ensures that fans in these key territories can enjoy live, comprehensive and high adrenaline coverage of every race for many years to come.”

While its streaming platforms HBO Max and Discovery+ will provide access to every lap of every race live throughout the season.
