Ferrari locks in 2026 stopping power as Brembo deal renewed
Scuderia Ferrari HP has renewed its historic technical partnership with Brembo, extending one of the longest and most successful collaborations in modern motorsport as both organisations prepare for the 2026 racing season.
The agreement ensures Brembo will continue supplying Ferrari with complete braking systems for its Formula One (F1) programme and the Ferrari Hypercar competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). The renewal deal covers calipers, discs, hydraulic components and friction materials – a full suite of technologies that have become synonymous with Ferrari’s racing identity.
The announcement, made from Maranello on the 3rd of February, reinforces a relationship that spans more than 50 years. Brembo has been part of Ferrari’s most iconic eras, contributing to championship winning machinery in Both F1 and endurance racing. The partnership now enters a new phase as Ferrari prepared for the sweeping technical regulation changes arriving in 2026.
Ferrari says the decision reflects its commitment to pairing elite engineering with trusted, long term partners. Brembo’s expertise in high performance braking will support the team’s push to maximise efficiency, control and consistency under the new rule set, which places greater emphasis on energy recovery and hybrid integration.
The renewed agreement also extends to Ferrari’s 499P hypercar, which claimed the 2025 FIA WEC Constructors’ Championship. With endurance racing demanding extreme durability and precision, Brembo’s systems remain central to Ferrari’s competitive ambitions across both championships.
As the 2026 season approached, Ferrari and Brembo enter the next chapter of a partnership defined by innovation, reliability along with pursuit of performance - a combination the team hopes will help drive its return to the front of the grid.
