Getty Images extends multi-year deal to remain Formula One's official photographic agency
Getty Images, a global visual content creator and marketplace, known for award winning motorsport photography along with Formula One (F1). Have announced a renewal of a multi-year partnership which means Getty Images will continue to provide comprehensive photographic coverage. Their photographers will delivers premium imagery including behind the scenes access at paddock and track side.
F1’s visual storytelling has been central to Getty Images for decades, including extensive coverage during F1’s 75th anniversary season in 2025.
Michael Heiman, Getty Images’ Vice President of Global Sport said: “For 30 years, Getty Images has been at the forefront of innovation in sports photography and our motorsport specialists continue to set the standard for creativity and speed in capturing the racing action.”
The partnership ensures continued delivery of high-quality, rights cleared imagery for media broadcasters, sponsors and fans worldwide.
In addition to the well-known Sutton, Schlegemilch, Colombo and Dukes Video collections, Getty Images’ motorsport collection features video from Motorsport along with LAT Images.
Heiman added: “We’re proud to continue partnering with Formula One to showcase the thrill of this incredible sport through visuals and deliver iconic moments to customers, media and fans worldwide in near real time via our unparalleled distribution platform.”
With the collection comprising of over 26 million images dating as far back as 1895 and includes action from every F1 Grand Prix since 1950 to the present day.
