Ferrari straps in! WHOOP wearables join the Scuderia in big 2026 performance push
Scuderia Ferrari HP Formula One (F1) Team along with WHOOP, a global human performance and wearable technology company. Have announced a new partnership with WHOOP, becoming a team partner in addition to official health and fitness wearable partner. Ferrari’s medical team will collaborate with WHOOP’s Performance Science experts to optimise human performance.
Ferrari wants to extend its data driven approach beyond the car and into the human performance side of racing.
Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenue Officer said: “The partnership with WHOOP allows us to extend our data-driven approach beyond the car, to aspects more related to the human factor.”
WHOOP provides continuous physiological insights that help improve recovery, efficiency and overall team performance during the demanding F1 season.
As part of the agreement, WHOOP devices will be made available to members of the team to support the monitoring and understanding of key factors linked to physical health along with wellness throughout the season.
Giorgetti added: “This collaboration represents a further step in our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, with the objective of creating the best possible conditions for the team.”
The medical team supporting Ferrari will work closely with WHOOP’s Performance Science experts on enhancing the physical efficiency and recovery by analysing data related to sleep, stress in addition to recovery in line with the team’s long standing, data driven approach.
