Williams welcomes Jade Jacquet: 16 year old French talent joins driver academy and F1 Academy for 2026

 



Jade Jacquet, 16 year old French driver and Atlassian Williams Racings have announced that she will be Williams Racing driver for the 2026 F1 Academy season. She will also become a member of the Williams Racing Driver Academy receiving full support for her development. The programme aims to advance female representation in motorsport continuing Williams’ commitment after supporting Lia Block.


Jacquet will work closely with the team at Grove and race internationally with ART Grand Prix in F1 Academy. Showing rapid progress with success in French Junior Karting in addition to a transition to single seaters in 2025 French F4 with multiple top 20 finishes and a female trophy win at Dijon Prenois.

Jade Jacquet, Atlassian Williams Racing Driver Academy and F1 Academy in 2026 said: “I’m super excited to be joining the Williams Racing Driver Academy and F1 Academy for the 2026 season.”

Her potential and adaptability make a strong candidate for long term development in motorsport.


Williams has been part of the F1 Academy project since 2024 and supported Block as an Atlassian Williams Racing driver which saw the American make her single seat debut after starting her career in rally.

Block made significant strides achieving a 2nd place feature race finish in Zandvoort and her maiden victory in Singapore this year.
