Red Bull and Ford go full throttle! 2026 season launch set for star spangled showdown in the USA




Red Bull Racing, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls and Ford Motor Company with key figures including team executives plus Ford CEO Jim Farley. Have announced a joint season launch event unveiling the 2026 Formula One (F1) liveries and officially introducing Red Bull Ford Powertrains, Ford’s return to F1 as an engine supplier. Happening in Detroit, USA on the 15th of January 2026 with fan registration open for early access and potential in person attendance.


Marking the beginning of a new technical and commercial era for both teams highlighting Ford’s re-entry into F1.

Paying homage to Ford’s heritage, Red Bull chose to introduce this landmark season in Detroit, celebrating a partnership that has delivered the first ever Red Bull Ford Powertrains power unit.

Jim Farely, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company, said: “What we will learn together with Red Bull will define the technologies of the future and that is what excites me most about this relationship.”

In 2026, together with Ford, Red Bull will roar into action as a power unit manufacturer, a project that encapsulates the Red Bull spirit that has defied convention since it took to the track 21 years ago.
