Alpine takes off! F1 team and Qatar Airways join Carmen Jorda to turbocharge women in motorsport

 

Qatar Airways, BWT Alpine Formula One (F1) Team and Carmen Jorda have announced a joint initiative to champion female empowerment in both motorsport as well as aviation. The partnership emphasises breaking barriers and creating opportunities for women in traditionally male dominated fields. Empowering women by showcasing role models like Jorda leveraging the global platforms of F1 and aviation.

Reinforces both Qatar Airways’ and Alpine’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and innovation.

Aiming to inspire the next generation of female talent in motorsport engineering, piloting and leadership roles.

Jorda will lead female driver mentorship initiatives as part of Alpine F1 team’s F1 Academy entry.

Carmen Jorda, Head of Alpine F1 Academy said: “I look forward to working with Qatar Airways and taking part in events close to the fans as well as community outreach programmes that highlight the airline’s commitment to empowerment and excellence.”

Qatar Airways will support the team as Commercial Airline Partner building on their established relationship over the past three seasons with a special focus on the Qatar Grand Prix.
