McLaren goes Groq mode! AI powerhouse joins the race to 2026
McLaren Racing and Groq, a US based AI solutions company known for its high speed compute architecture have announced. A new official partnership for the 2025 Formula One (F1) season with Groq supporting McLaren’s performance through real time AI driven data processing. Across the F1 calendar with Groq’s technology integrated into McLaren’s track side and remote operations.
Enhancing decision making speed and accuracy in areas like race strategy, simulation and telemetry analysis leveraging Groq’s ultra fast AI compute to gain a competitive edge.
Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Racing, said: “So we’re excited to begin wrking with Groq to help deliver inference at the speed we need to support us in out efforts to stay at the front of the grid.”
With the integration of Groq’s custom language processing unit that has been purpose built to deliver cost efficient intelligence.
As part of the partnership, Groq technology will fuel decision making supporting the McLaren F1 Team.
