F1 fever hits Germany! Oberhausen gears up for blockbuster exhibition tour



Formula One (F1) and Round Room Live announced yesterday (9th of September), in partnership with FKP Scorpio Entertainment. F1 exhibition, an immersive, multimedia experience showcasing F1’s history, innovation and iconic moments through galleries, artefacts as well as interactive installations. Opens up to the public in Oberhausen, Germany on the 22nd of October following previous stops in Madrid, Vienna, Toronto, London, Buenos Aires and Amsterdam.


Celebrating Germany’s deep rooted influence on F1 highlighting legendary drivers, iconic tracks like Nurburgring and Hockenheimring along with the legacy of teams like Mercedes AMG Petronas.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula One, said: “Germany as a country is integral to the sport’s story with iconic tracks … great champions including Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, whose legacies we still feel today.”

Fans and motorsport enthusiasts can also look forward to a dedicated German room celebrating the country’s deep rooted influence on F1. This special area will spotlight iconic moments in addition to celebrating German women in F1.


The 90 minute journey through the world of F1 begins with Once Upon A Time in F1, a gallery of previously unpublished photos, films, artefacts and numerous interviews. Sporting the most famous personalities which takes visitors through some of the most popular and defining moments in F1 history.

Design Lab gives a rare insight into the development of an F1 race car shows how the teams design and produce various new components for their cars. Followed by Drivers and Duels which celebrates the most legendary drivers and memorable moments since the start of F1 in 1950.
