Cyber speed! McLaren locks in Trend Micro to power digital defence on the grid

McLarenRacing and Trend Micro have announced today (2nd of September) that they’ve entered into a formal partnership becoming an official partner of the McLaren Formula One (F1) Team. Focusing on cybersecurity collaboration and digital innovation across McLaren’s racing operations.
The partnership spans McLaren’s global F1 activities with Trend Micro’s branding and technology integrated across the team’s digital infrastructure in addition to race operations.
Matt Dennington, Co-Chief Commerical Officer, McLaren Racing, said: “It is fantastic to have Trend join the McLaren Formula 1 Team as an Official Partner.”
Activation is expected to begin immediately and continue into future seasons. Enhancing McLaren’s cybersecurity resilience, protect data across high-performance environments.
Organisations like McLaren Racing are being helped by Trend to stay ahead of threats by safeguarding operational systems and sensitive data, ensuring operations remain secure.

Since 2023, Trend has been part of the McLaren Racing family, previously being an official partner of the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team.
